“Hello. I am Kim Dongrae, formerly of the drama studio Raemongraein, and I have spent my career producing K-dramas in Korea. The productions I have worked on include Lovers in Prague, My Sassy Girl, Hwang Jini, Beautiful Mind, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Reborn Rich — some fifty titles in all. For Lost Time, a drama going into production in 2027, I am looking through the iamkstar.com platform for the singers and musicians who will make its OST. For this OST we are waiting not only for singers, but for musicians who play the piano, the guitar, the violin and other instruments. Anyone who loves K-dramas and music can take part. Using the form on iamkstar.com, tell us briefly about yourself and about your work and experience in music. We will select the finest singers and musicians from those who apply and give them the chance to take part in the OST of the 2027 drama Lost Time. Who is asking
Forty years on drama sets. He began in his twenties as a location sound recordist — holding the boom on Autumn in My Heart, one of the dramas that started the Korean Wave — and went on to produce more than fifty dramas, most recently as the CEO who took the studio Raemongraein public on the KOSDAQ exchange. Sound is where this career started, which is not the worst credential for the person choosing an OST.
